This Calls for a Celebration!!!

Woooohoooo!!!!!
Things are really going my way. I am so happy 'high' these few days.

I got good news from Dr. Chai when I went for my check up. The most wonderful words came out from his mouth.

Dr. Chai : "Estee!! Everything looks perfect now. You'll be able to take out your braces anytime soon."

Me : "Are you sure??!!! OK. Can you take it out NOW ah since you said it is perfect!!!"

Dr. Chai : "Err!! Sorry not today as I need to ....blah... blah... blah....thicker wire on the bracket and....bla...blah...bla... for the final ....bla blah." ( I didn't pay attention to what he was explaining as I was too excited already) :D

Me : "I want to take it out before my trip la, Doc. Pleaseeeeeeeeee......."

Finally, after my persistent and persuasive whinning, he gave the green light and told me to come back see him this Wednesday.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the day I've been waiting for so long, tomorrow is officially the day I shall bid farewell forever to my ugly metal. Come to think of it, exactly 1 year of torture I've put myself through becoz of my insane vanity. Emmmmm!!!

But looking at the bright side, I'll be going for my holiday with a great smile. Perfect timing!!! What more could I ask for. *grinning widely with my braces still intact* Hehehee.

I've also fixed for another appointment to do BriteSmile (whitening of teeth) the next following day too. Can't wait to see the results once everything is done.

I am so into my teeth till I make myself sick sometimes. :P
Tonite, mummy is off to celebrate with the gals. *wink*

I Caught A Shark!!!

Timothy's new toy.

He wanted sharky to sleep next to him every nite. Mummy didn't allowed it coz sharky will take up his whole bed. Hahaha!!

Another surprise!!!

Yeahhhhhh!!!! *jumping up and down* "I am going to Phuket for my birthday". So excited!!! Yipeeeee.

Ken is so sweet!!!! He booked and made reservation for everything and told me last nite, we are leaving for Phuket next week on Fri 1pm flight. He gave me the web site of the hotel and told me to check it out RAMADA RESORT Karon Beach, Phuket

He said he found this hotel very apropriate whereby Timothy and mummy for sure will have lotsa fun.
Coz :-

  1. There is a kidz club with lots of children activities.

  2. A cool looking pub where mummy can have her nice cold beers. Cheers!!! hehehe
Looks like a unique and family oriented hotel. I am so excited. Shall start ransacking my closet for my beach attires. The last time I went to Phuket was more than 8 years ago before I even met Ken. Ha!! I can't wait ...I can wait.... *smile*

Express Mail

"Ding Dong" the door bell rang. Too lazy to move a limb. Did not care who was at the door. :P Then I was awaken by maid to sign a postage receipt.

Geeez!!! I got up feeling grumpy. Went to check it out since I can't go back to sleep.

A Big Brown Box!!??? Express mail from Miami Beach Florida, US. The first thing came to my mind.
YEAH!!! An early birthday present from Ken???? Haha. *hint hint*

But I continued reading the description of the content, Carnival Festival Items!!!??? Well, can't be anything for me then. :( Daddy must have ordered something for lil Timothy. I opened the package and guess what I found.....

2 POWER RANGER SPD Costumes. Blue Ranger, Sky and Red Ranger, Jack. (mummy also an expert in power rangers) Timothy is gonna be crazy happy when he sees this when he comes back from school.

Daddy can be so sweet with surprises sometimes!! *wink*

Getting into the groove

I am getting back the momentum of working out again and I do really hope it sticks like a glue as my routine this time round. :P

I've NOT been doing any form of exercise or any cardiovascular work out for almost a year. Cialat!!! tsk tsk tsk.. I know....I know.

I've put on a huge amount of bloody weight since (not gonna tell you how much coz shy la) till my teenager niece, Ivy nicknamed me "Dunlop". Sigh!!! Half of my wardrobe's outfits I can't fit in. I am like a huge piece of lard. HAHAHAHA. Really one...I'm not kidding!!!!!

Just can't seem to sacrifice my love of food esp. my 'nasi lemak', etc etc etc etc etc etc. (Thou shall not even spell out the rest of the word as it'll make me wanna have supper...yan yan!!!) My metabolic rate is not as what it used to be. :(

Anyway, like what I said I hope I shall stay put with my this new exercise routine. I have Ken as my partner and I am thrilled as we motivate each other to reach our individual goals.
Rain or shine, we have been doing our 4km walk diligently in Kiara Hill. If it rains we carry our umbrellas (quite romantic walking together while it's raining, you know....hehehe). If it's hot, I put extra sunblock la. Not bad, huh!!!

My stamina has been slowly building up. I just feel very satisfied and good after every hike. *grinning*

BUT , my waist line doesn't seem to lose any inches yet la. Damn!!

Zoo Negara

Went to Zoo Negara this morning. Timothy's classmate, Hannah had a huge birthday celebration. TV channel crews and all sort of press agents were everywhere coz it was a first ever held birthday bash in a considerable big scale event. It was like a Carnival!!! With pony rides, elephant shows, never ending games, concert and etc. Kiddy food stalls with colourful canopies were errected at the open park to feed hungry lil tummies but not my lil one's as the queue was just ridiculous for mummy to patiently line up. :P

The weather was too unkind. So HUMID and HOT. Totally not a single wave of breeze. Not only that, mozi everywhere la. (basically covered my boy and myself with mozi repellent) :P Well, I think ah, our weather here is just not conducive to have such concept parties la.

Actually our Zoo Negara is quite disappointing. First of all, it is not as well kept and properly maintained from my expectation. Not as clean as some of the Zoo we have visited else where. Some of the poor animals look sickly and the pond is a terrible sight. It looked so contaminated and smell so awful. *Yucks* (Me feeling queasy thinking of it now) :P
I just wondered why some families can just picnic around there. Wat is there to see, huh??? Such a sore eye. Gosh!!!

I can go on complaining lots more, u know!!! But...ahem...all I can say, it will be my first and last trip la.

We 'cabut' early as I was afraid Timothy might get a heat stroke as he was drenched with his perspire. His lil face was as red as a lobster from the heat. Daddy came to the rescue. Picked us up and we were very soon in the comfort of the cool air conditioning in the car. *smile* And off, we went for a lunch.

Please don't get me wrong!!!! Not that I hold anything against the party or the people but it was the location itself. All in all, the birthday party was, however, great. The host was very hospitable, the rest of the kids had a ball and most importantly, the lil birthday gal looked so very HAPPY. "Who cares about my blabbering, rite???" Nevertheless, I must admit Timothy had a bit of fun also laaaa despite all this complaining of mine. *wink*

Here are some shots. :P

Gals Nite Out

The Gals

Had a fun nite out with the gals again. First, we had dinner in La Bodega BSC. Timothy joined us for dinner but later insisted for daddy to come pick him up. He said, it's no fun hanging out with the gals. All you do is talk about girly stuff. Boring!! *worried look* Very soon, he wont even want to go out with mummy. *sad*

My lovely sis, Jeannie, my partner in crime, Suzanne and I adjourn to Song Bird KTV after that. Ha! Was yelling my lungs out as usual la. What's new??!!! Got back home feeling tipsy and had ice-cream with Suzanne. Hahaha. Fun Fun Fun.

'I am so bored. I wanna hang out with daddy & the boys.' :P

Suzanne & Jeannie

Wishing hard.

How I wish it was T.C.H that cares after I read a significant sms just now. I can still remember oh so clearly every single thing abt him. He is in me. In my thick pure blood flowing in my vein. How he cared for everything and single thing in full detail with so much love. So much wisdom that I am who I am.

Once a upon a time ago, even a slightest gesture, his 'rough' hand gently rubbing my back when I have an itch and 'moi' felt like I was in a safest haven.

Pls come back to us......!!! I miss u so. Hardly know you now.

Me so sad!!!! *tears *

Tiger Soo

One of Timothy's many favourite activities is playing golf. He goes for his golf lesson in KinderGolf BSC every Monday after school. He loves playing the game as daddy likes it too. Once a month, Ken and I will bring him to the course to practise with his teacher, Huma.

He learns his teories and practises his chipping/putting indoors. He has yet fully learn the full swing. Still needs a lot of practise. Here are some shots for your viewing pleasure. Tiger Soo in the making!!!

Indoor class, practise chipping.

Stone!!!

Me so sore now. *pouting lips*

Feel like there is a foreign object protruding out from my gum. Damn uncomfortable!!! Cut long story short, I was so freaked out and tensed when doctor did the procedure yesterday. Cold sweat and my eyes very tightly shut. (scared to look at the freaking scary needles and instruments mah) When I opened my eyes, I wasn't aware I looked like a panda bear. My mascara all smeared. Two black eyes. Very ugly sight, you know!!! Hahaha.

I am so stone coz I'm drugged up with pain killers.

Despite of me feeling melancholy, when I see Timothy cute face, I totally forget about my suffering for like...... a few seconds. *smile*

Cute Timothy

Pain :(

I am in so much pain this time round after my visit from my orthondontist today. Just took a tab of arcoxia (strong pain killer) and hope I'll have a good nite sleep later. I've been wearing braces for exactly a year now to correct my ugly lower teeth. So far, I have did gum lifting and reduction on my upper gum by lasering off the tissue to have a nicer smile line. Damn vain... rite??!!!

Every month I have to endure throbbing pain for a few days from the tightening of the wire on my braces to close up my gap on my lower teeth. My stubborn molars has not been adjusting accordingly from my doctor's explanation. It has created my front lower teeth to collapse a bit inwards as there is no anchor to support the movement as my upper teeth are without any braces.

So this weekend, I am going to have a micro implant anchorage procedure to rectify it. It is one of the latest technological advances in orthondontist, a miniature screw type used to help move my teeth effectively and rapidly during braces treatment. A tiny metal screw will be screwed to my gum and into my jaw bone. It seems, a procedure that is painless with local anethesi. It sounds scary and looks crazy from the pics Dr.Chai showed me. I was grossed out and quite reluctant to decide on doing it at first. I had a long consultation with him and he assured that it is a very safe and painless procedure without any sort of side effect. What the heck la....just do it la!!! :P

I do believe everything is going be alrite (Hmmmm....I think I am trying to console myself la...Geeeeezzz) My appointment is set. Going to fix it on Saturday. From there, I think I still have another 2 ordeal months to go. Once the metals are taken off, I plan to have my set of chompers whiten to the max. White as can be. HEHEHEHEHE. (Always wanted white shinning healthy looking teeth) *big smile*

I am so hungry now and I can't eat anything coz my teeth are so bloody sensitive. Well, actually come to think of it, good also la. I get to lose some weight. *smile* *duh*

Vanity is not easy to come by. I do hope it's gonna be worth it after all this torture I put myself through. :P

Swimming

Swimming coach & Timothy

Every Saturday afternoon, Timothy has his swimming lesson at the pool. Took some shots of him during his lesson with his swimming coach, Daniel. Errrr...cute fellow with a great tan and mascular body. *whistle* *ahem ahem*. Timothy's daddy asked me whether I am watching over my son when his lesson is commencing or looking at his coach. I replied "Both la". I wear my dark big sunglasses and he won't know I am looking at him mah. Hehehe. *silly grin*

Timothy can swim pretty well now. He can push himself up for air and do the breast stroke quite gracefully. He can dive deep under the water as well. He looks forward to his lesson every weekend. Come to think of it, Timothy has always been a water baby. Put him in the pool when he was just 3 months old. Wore the ring float for babies and he can manoeuvre around but occasionally he did gasped some unwanted water and coughed till his lil face turned red but then, he'll still be fine and happy. He never cried unless it's time for him to get out from the pool.

"Mummy, I can swim like a shark, you know. I can smell blood in the water and look far far away becoz ah I eat carrots" he announced to me.

I agreed and he was so proud of himself. His expression of his face was so 'action'.
He tells me the cutest things. Love him to bits.

Waiting Patiently

I had a crazy movie marathon of Prison Break couple of months ago. The first time I set eyes on Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield), I fell all the way for him. It was like a strike of lightning!!!! His piercing blue eyes are so captivating. His demeanor of the character is so cool. His bald hair cut is so tremendously plain sexy. His tattoo urged me even more to have one......Well, I can go on and on. Ken said I'm like a silly lil gal infatuated...maybe he is just jealous la. Hehehehehee

Perhap, it's the exciting story line after all. From my point of view, I think it's a brialliant series. I was transfixed to the TV screen every nite after putting Timothy to bed and just went GO GO GA GA watching my Michael.

Only recently, Ken was hooked on it through my persistent recommendation. He was never into watching series show before. He tot it was a waste of time when I was following my desperate housewife, nip n tuck, L word, greys anotomy and etc etc. (I can be quite a movie freak sometimes) ;P
I am proud to announce he is now officially a No.1 fan of Prison Break too. Haha! He watched the whole series, episode after another continuosly until wee hour of the morning consecutively every nite. That's crazy OK!!! *ding dong*

Both of us are now waiting patiently for Season 2 part 12 onwards.

I love Wentworth Miller!!!! *wink*

Mini Concert

Attended Timothy's school gathering for the CNY and they had a mini concert for the parents. Timothy insisted he wanted to wear his shark costume. Mummy was quite reluctant cos it was a hot day. But alas, gave in la as usual. ( he has mummy in his lil finger) He was perspiring like a wet shark. hehe

They were singing "Rasa Sayang" in group and for his class presentation, one of an up beat song "Dhoom Macha Le". (by Tata Young) Timothy was shaking his bum bum, singing along with the song and did all the cutie moves. Mummy was moving to the beat also. Don't pray pray!! Too bad Daddy missed out all the fun. :(

Everybody called him Sharky Boy and he walked tall and so full of confidence.

"Mummy, I want to frighten my friends and show off my sharp teeth" he said. Hahaha

With his best pals. On his left, Zachary and right, Khai Peng.

We had FUN and I met a few more of Timothy's friends mother.

Eye on M'sia

The Eye on Malaysia Ferris Wheel from Timothy's view.

I went Wow when I saw the painting.
His art teacher, Wan, told me that it was the best work in the whole class. Mummy is so proud of him. The funny thing is I've never took him to Taman Titiwangsa before and he can imagine and drew out a pic of it eventhough the example the teacher gave was rather different. As you can see below the painting, the lake is infested by sharks. So funny!!!

"Mummy!!! Can you see the Great White Sharksssss???" he whispered cheekily.
"The lake is full of sharks ok and if my friends are naughty, the sharks will jump out and bite them."

I laughed.

He has such cute imagination, doesn't he????

Pancakes...

Timothy making pancakes. Mix the whole ingredients accordingly. Stir it till it's smooth. Errrr....I think there were some pieces of egg shell in it. Oooops!!!!! Who cares la. *wink*

It's time for me to flip the cake. I can't wait la.

My pancakes look good. Smells yummy too.....
But careful, the pan is HOT.

I shall pour some delicious maple syrup over my buttered fluffy cake.

YUM.............Thumbs Up!!! The BEST pancake I ever had. Delicious!!!
