I wanna prepare Timothy well ahead for his Year 1 in Sri KDU next year. No doubt he's in a good kindergarden now but seeing the standard of work they do, though I think is not up to my standards.
Timothy has a tutor who comes to the house twice a week to concentrate on his maths and mandarin. (which I think is very important as hubby and I are illiterate in that particular language) I also send Timothy to a reading class every twice a week as to cultivate him to have the interest for reading. And since then, he has improved dramatically and getting better by the day.His schedule is basically full on the weekdays.
Well, I'm not that 'kiasu' until there is all work and no play for my lil boy. He has his golf and swimming lesson on the weekends which he very much look forward - Lots of play time with his play group too. Try to well balance everything. I have since stopped his art class for I think it's not his priority right now. He can anytime resume his lil talent of his when time permits.
So far so good, he has not shown any sign of reluctance or complain about any of his extra curriculum activitivies that I've arranged. Being an only child, he's often bored and enjoyed all sort of activities together with his lil friends otherwise he would be so restless at home. In truth, all I want is Timothy to be happy and have fun through learning. Mummy knows best and want the best for his lil darling boy. *wink*
