CNY cupcakes for family reunion dinner.
CNY is over. 2 weeks just went by like a snap of a finger.
I must say that CNY is indeed a time of the year when families and relatives come together. Having a swell time and truly celebrate this wonderful yearly occasion. Plus, indulging in plenty of good food. Seriously, my weighing scale is not my best friend right now. *laugh*
And of coz through out the CNY, Timothy was really happy receiving lotsa angpows!!! His eyes just lighted up when a red packet is handed to him. Really a $$$ face boy, you know?!. Don't know like who la?! hehehe. *cunning grin*
Well, Timothy and I rehearsed before the CNY . When someone gives an angpow. Politely look at the person and say clearly 'Gong Xi Fa Cai' and 'Thank You'.
He repeated "Gong Xiii Fay Choy" and so forth like a good boy.
But when the actual moment came. He uttered the whole exact sentence perfectly and after that said out loud.
"How much is inside ah, mummy??" while trying to tear open his angpow to find out. Really cialat!!! hahahaha. The innocence of my 5+ year old boy.
After doing the 'lou sang' for many times. I bet Timothy would be a lucky and prosperous boy, huh!!!... hahaha.
A tradition continued on hubby's family side where they kneel to 'cham cha' (give tea) to his parents on CNY. Timothy sure looked like a fillial lil grandson. *wink*
