Down Memory Lane

I did some spring cleaning before the CNY and I encountered this old photos of mine in a box which I've forgotten since my moved. It got me tickled pink reminiscing my younger days. Did some editing and just thought it would be lovely to share with you guys.

Here are some of my favourites. Surprisingly, I still have vivid memories of where and when the pics were taken. I must admit, I had a fun and loving childhood with my many siblings. A wonderful up bringing from my parents.

I see alot of Timothy in me. Very strong resemblance of me rite..... But Daddy for sure dont agree one...... Wat do you guys think???

Red Box, The Curve

Angpow

It has been exactly 6 yrs, I'm distributing angpows and I do miss receiving them. (those were the days la :P) My role every year is putting $$$ in this red little packets before the eve and to tell you the truth it is no fun as I know the $$$ is not gonna be mine. Hahaha.

On the other hand, Timothy knows the concept of getting angpow better this year and he made sure it's all kept safely in his backpack. Will only count how much he has collected when CNY is over.

My poor hubby had a minor operation on his hand on 1st day of CNY. :( An infection of a cyst he got for quite sometime. He tried to do his own operation by poking it with my sewing needle. *pandai pandai la* From there, it got really badly infected. The whole left hand was swollen to double the size. Luckily, his Aunt and Uncle are both doctors and they managed to arrange for an immediate operation. He is better now. Been taking good care of hubby.

CNY has always been eating, eating and eating. Nothing else. I dare not even go near the weighing machine. Oh ya....and also drinking...gulp....gulp...gulp. I guess I better give my liver a break soon. *wink*. Did not gamble so far as I am never good at it and I am such a bad loser.

Timothy rushed through the door and said "Mummyyyyyyy, sit down and close your eyesssss...... don't try to peek ah." I said "OK darling"... as I grinned happily. Heard him ransacking his backpack and he shouted.... SURPRISEEeeeeee. He presented me this beautiful card. I screamed happily and gave him a big kiss and hug. He smiled proudly like a big boy and said the little pink flower he drew is specially for me. I know you like pink colour, mummy......

So sweet riteeeee!!!!!!!!! Happy tears in mummy's eyes. I love you so much, Timothy!!!

Valentine's Day

To me, Valentine's Day is just overated. I don't like the whole commercialism surrounding it. I always tell Ken not to spend exorbitant prices for flowers or dinner. I think it is ridiculous. It doesn't mean that he loves me less without all this expression of gifts on this particular day.

BUT... I was really happy last year when Timothy came back from school and gave me a Valentine card he made. I was at the top of the world. My 'first' Valentine card from my son. I'm looking forward on his return from school later. Can't wait la!!!

Anyway, I will prepare dinner at home as I've invited Mark & Shawn to join us this evening. I have 4 men ( including little Timothy) accompanying me tonite. Not bad huh!!! hahaha.
