Birthday Dinner.

The other day, we had a lil birthday celebration for a good friend of mine at Villa Danieli, Sheraton Imperial Hotel, KL. Again, as always when everytime I set foot in Sheraton, it brings back sweet memories of my wedding day as it was held there many years ago. The Italian Restaurant is one of my favorites for hubby and I have celebrated couple of our anniversaries and occasions there.

It appears that the menu in Villa Danieli has since changed and I'm glad it still hold the same standards as always - very delicious, tasty and authentic. Highly recommended! Plus, I simply love the old rustic cosy Italian cottage atmosphere and feel. It sets the perfect mood!!!

Such a wonderful night dining and wining with hubby and close friends. After having a scrumptous dinner, we hopped over to Heritage Mansion and enjoyed the rest of the night away with a bottle of birthday gal's favourite bubbly, Don Perignon. Cheers! It was all so lovely. We had such a good time.

Birthday Gal, Ai Ling and happy moi.

I Love Reading!

I wanna prepare Timothy well ahead for his Year 1 in Sri KDU next year. No doubt he's in a good kindergarden now but seeing the standard of work they do, though I think is not up to my standards.

Timothy has a tutor who comes to the house twice a week to concentrate on his maths and mandarin. (which I think is very important as hubby and I are illiterate in that particular language) I also send Timothy to a reading class every twice a week as to cultivate him to have the interest for reading. And since then, he has improved dramatically and getting better by the day.His schedule is basically full on the weekdays.

Well, I'm not that 'kiasu' until there is all work and no play for my lil boy. He has his golf and swimming lesson on the weekends which he very much look forward - Lots of play time with his play group too. Try to well balance everything. I have since stopped his art class for I think it's not his priority right now. He can anytime resume his lil talent of his when time permits.

So far so good, he has not shown any sign of reluctance or complain about any of his extra curriculum activitivies that I've arranged. Being an only child, he's often bored and enjoyed all sort of activities together with his lil friends otherwise he would be so restless at home. In truth, all I want is Timothy to be happy and have fun through learning. Mummy knows best and want the best for his lil darling boy. *wink*

Video clips of Timothy doing his reading. He is currently reading 4 different books every week from Oxford Reading Tree.

My Lil Obsession.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! This is what I utter to myself everytime I look at my latest pair of shoes. A gold leather 'chip' ballet flats from Roger Vivier.

Love at first sight when I set my eyes upon it when I saw a friend strutting around in this gorgeous pair. I told myself I must have it by hook by crook. It's just to die-for!!! If you have a lil obsession like mine, you'll truly understand what I'm feeling la. *wink* I found out the nearest place available is in Hong Kong and a friend of mine was so kind enough to get it for me on his recent trip.

So here I am. A very happy woman with yet another beautiful pair of shoes added to my collection. Life will not be complete without fabulous shoes!!

The signature buckle. Isn't it gorgeous???!!

New Year, New Me!!

Woke up one morning. Looked at myself in the mirror and I just got fed up with my boring long unruly hair.

The next thing I did was made a call to a friend to fix an appointment with Andy Ho in The Gardens instead of my usual trip to Edwin Saw in KLCC. Not my norm as I wanted a new someone to snip my mane. Nobody knows I went for my haircut except hubby and Timothy for they think I was just going to my usual trim at my usual place!

Went there on time at the beautiful all white decor salon. Sat down. Told the renowned Andy, I was sick of my long hair. Chopped it off! Create a new look for me. Something stylish. Something different. Make me look younger la. *grin*

Snip...snip...snip later. Here is a pic of my new look.

P.S I Love You

My most recent read. P.S I Love You. Author by Cecelia Ahern. A love story of a young widow who has to cope and move on after the loss of her husband.

This book leaves me feeling a mix of everything. Happy, sad, humourous and romantic. All in one. At some moments, it made me laugh out loud and the next, brought me to tears on numerous time. I found myself so absorbed with the anticipation on Holly's each letter from Gerry. The story actually centres around this envelopes and the tasks it contains. An easy fun read.

I can't wait to watch the movie, though. Starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler. Hope it's as comparable to the book. *wink*

Eve of 2008

Two parties in a night. Yes, that was how we celebrated and ushered the New Year. We attended 2 parties, one was held in my friend's house in Sierramas and the other was in Damansara. Being in the other side of town, we avoided the massive jam and crowd.

It was absolutely fun counting down the New Years together with good friends. This will be Timothy's 2nd year joining daddy and mummy for he's a lil old enough to ('tahan') stay up late till midnight - getting all excited doing the count down, screaming out loud 'happy new year', hugging and wishing everyone, fooling around with the party poppers and basically having a jolly good time.

However, after the revelry mellowed down, my lil boy said to me.

"Is that all? OK. Let's go home. I am so tired now." As he clinged on to his daddy and looking so exhausted.

Shortly, daddy and mummy headed back home and he fell asleep like a baby in the car. Again I'm so blessed to have Timothy and daddy with me on this special day and hope there'll be many more to come. *smile*

Timothy all ready. In the mood to party and have a good time.

With the Kuan's family. ML, Cherrie and cute lil baby Adam. Timothy is holding hands with baby Adam. So sweet!!

With the ever so bubbly and cheerful Poh Gaik.

With the gals.

Late Greetings.

Would like to wish everyone a 'Belated' Happy New Year and may 2008 brings you good health and a wonderful year! *wink*

School has reopened for about a week. It's Timothy's 3rd year of attending pre-school. How time flies! I still remember his very first day of school like it was only yesterday. He used to cry buckets when I left him. It was so difficult to say good-bye as I saw him crying hysterically. The crying, vomitting and drama ended only after 2 long weeks. It was an experienced!!

But now, it's totally a different story. He will kiss daddy and mummy good-bye and skipped happily to the entrance of his school without even looking back. Ha! Sometimes I'm not even allowed to kissed him in front of his friends or teachers. hahaha.

I'm back to my daily routine again of attending to Timothy's school schedule and his extra activities. I've mentioned before, my life basically revolves around my lil boy and I have no complains. I'm enjoying every minute that comes along without missing a single milestone of his. My boy is growing up so fast before my eyes.

A lil updates on my 5+ year old boy. What he has partly been up to during the school break!

Being allowed to play gameboy for an extended time . So, he was basically glued to that lil screen la!

Practically staying up very late (12 ish) every nite. Comatosed on the sofa one nite while watching TV.

Swimming...swimming...swimming. Always at the pool when weather was great .
